Burg Simpson is pleased to announce that attorneys Stephen J. Burg and Nick D. Fogel have been named Ex-Officio board members of the Colorado Judicial Institute (CJI). Established in 1979, the Colorado Judicial Institute seeks to preserve and enhance the independence and excellence of Colorado courts, to further public understanding of the Colorado judicial system, and to ensure that the courts meet the needs of the people.
Speaking of his appointment Stephen Burg said, Protecting the integrity of Colorados legal system and ensuring that each and every citizen within our state has access to justice is of paramount importance. I am honored to serve as a board member of the CJI.
Nick Fogel said, I am deeply honored to be named as an Ex-Officio board member of the CJI. I am joining a board that is comprised of many leaders of Colorado’s business and legal communities with the shared goal of preserving and enhancing the independence and excellence of Colorado courts.
